School Outdoor Activities

canoe instruction"A Curriculum for Excellence recognises that learning is embedded in experience. By taking learning outdoors we remove the barriers that the traditional classroom can put up between young people and first-hand, real-life experiences. Outdoor learning is hands-on and direct, and the knowledge that pupils gain from it is real, first-hand and unforgettable." from the Taking Learning Outdoors website.

We are well placed to offer multi activity breaks to schools. These can be centre or expedition based.

Some of the activities that can feature in tailored and individual programmes include:

  • Open Canoeing and Kayaking - River, Sea and Loch.
  • Sailing.
  • Rock Climbing and Abseiling.
  • 'Wilderness' walking and Expeditions.
  • Orienteering and weaseling.
  • Problem solving

We can also arrange other activities such as mountain biking and skiing.

Our courses, activities and adventures are tailored to suit your individual needs and requirements, and can be designed to incorporate the following options.
