Residential

Kushi Adventures can provide a dynamic, fun and adventurous residential.
Accommodation, in Tents, bunkhouses, or hostels

Our residential can include

• conservation or environmental work
• activity including canoeing, kayaking, sea kayaking, climbing, abseiling, bushcraft, mountain walking
• personal training, including leadership opportunities, team building and problem solving

Services

We can run Basic Expedition Leader awards.
The Sports Leaders UK Level 2 Award in Basic Expedition Leadership is a nationally recognised award that trains and qualifies teachers, youth workers and other members of the community to:

• Lead groups in lowland areas
• Have responsibility for the care of others when outdoors including day journeys
• Organise base and mobile camps

 

The award is the minimum qualification required by many Local Authorities and Operating Authorities of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme to train and lead groups in the expedition section of the Bronze and Silver Awards.

The award counts towards the service section of all three Awards in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme.

Each award requires a minimum of 90 hours of instruction and practical work followed by 30 hours of leadership experience when the skills learnt in training are put into practice, under supervision.

Physical

Climbing an Canoeing

To the D of E Rock Climbing programme, both indoors and out.

Activities will include

• Climbing
• Abseiling
• Bouldering
• Navigation skills, [how to find the crag
• Skills taught will include
• Belaying
• Equipment
• Knots and ropework
• Climbing techniques

Canoeing to British Canoe Union 2 star

• use canoes and kayaks
• learn paddle skills
• play games
• understand safety issues
• go on a journey

Expeditions

Gold, Silver and Bronze. We can supply both the Training and Supervision.
Open Gold Expeditions.
Expeditions at home and abroad. Why not Nepal or Norway?
