Some Important Information About Kushi Adventures

Kushi Adventures has recently undergone an AALA inspection and is now licensed as an Adventurous Activity provider. The Adventure Activities Licensing Authority inspects activity centres & other activity providers on behalf of the Department of Education and Skills (DfES).
Registration Number L6204/R1522.

Kushi Adventures has undergone an RYA inspection and is an RYA recognised training centre.

Insurance

The Heath Lambert Group insures Kushi Adventures with a public liability of £2,000,000. The policy is an outdoor activity provider, and cover includes but is not restricted to, sailing kayaking, canoeing, climbing and mountaineering. Coverage is for anywhere in the UK including inland and coastal waters.
It also includes employer’s liability to £10,000,000.

Russell Zenthon

Russell Zenthon is the managing director and senior instructor at Kushi Adventures. Russell has been adventuring for over 30 years. In the hills, on rivers and the sea. Russell holds current and relevant qualifications from various NGB's including the RYA, BCU and the MLTUK, and is a member of the MLTA and BAIML. He has world expedition experience including Norway, Svaalbard, and Nepal. He has worked with youngsters at Raasay Outdoor Centre, and for The Royal Geographical Society [BSES],
Group work from An Turus, Boots n Paddles, Hebridean Pathways, and Outlook Expeditions.

Kushi Adventures Staff

We have regular staff we use. These and any others we employ are done so under the AALA guidelines. All will have relevant qualifications and hold current first aid certificates. Where necessary they will have Enhanced Disclosures from the Scottish Criminal Record Office.
